Tier 1 International Buildings & Tech Main Contractor has just been awarded a Major Mega Watt Data Center worth 2 Billion AED (£400 Million)

This business is seeking a Logistics Manager to start on site before the 1st of November 2024.

Description

Essentially this role will lead & manage all the Logistics Related activities on a Major New Build Data Center Project in Dubai

Reporting directly into the Project Director based on site.

Do you understand the pace, pressures and complexities of permits, passes, lifting plans and managing the site safely? Can you lead a logistics team to be a well oil & slick operation. Yes we want progress but we want everyone going home safely as well.

The Client + Project

Global Main Contractor

2 Decades of handling Data, Tech & Life Science projects

Initial 18 Month Program with 2 further phases to follow

You will report directly into the Project Director on site that has been with the business for the past 15 Years

Role

Managing , driving and motivating the site team

Develop the Logistics implementation plans for the site

Supervise and verify the drafts describing the methodology to be implemented

Organization, administration, and coordination of all the elements involved in construction labour, temporary and permanent materials, equipment, supplies and utilities, money, technology and methods, and time in order to complete construction projects on schedule, within the budget

Working in close coordination of the Quality , Safety & Environmental departments on site

Capable to operate on a strategic level and think outside the box

Requirements:

Before applying

Clear strength as a Logistics Manager based on site

Minimum of 6-8 Years in a Lead Role for a Main Contractor

Does your CV show loyalty and success

Minimum of 2 Major Projects delivered £100 Million + and ideally a Data Center (Full Life cycle)

Able to commence employment before the 1st of November absolute LATEST

Confident , calm and assured in your communication style to your team, the supply chain and the end client

Salary:

AED 35,000 to 55,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
