About the Client:

The client is a well-established supplier and distributor specializing in pipes, tubes, fittings, and other essential piping components. They are known for their commitment to quality and timely delivery, serving a diverse range of industries with precision and reliability.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Executive plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s supply chain. This position involves close coordination with various stakeholders, including freight forwarders, shipping lines, agents, and surveyors, to manage the logistics of marine shipments for industrial commodities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, particularly in handling marine shipments, and be able to provide accurate and timely updates to both the company and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipment Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, container shipping lines, shipowner agents, and surveyors at ports of loading and discharge.

Ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for the timely and efficient loading and unloading of shipments.

Documentation Management:

Oversee the issuance of packing lists and support the preparation of other critical shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, stuffing reports, and surveyors’ reports.

Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with international shipping regulations.

Shipment Tracking:

Monitor the progress of shipments and provide timely updates to internal staff and clients.

Utilize tracking systems and communicate with relevant parties to ensure shipments are on schedule.

Logistics Reporting:

Prepare detailed and accurate logistics reports for upper management, providing insights into the status of shipments, potential delays, and overall supply chain performance.

Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.

Supply Chain Monitoring:

Collaborate with and monitor the efforts of supply chain partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Address any issues that arise during the logistics process and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

Language Skills:

Open to Russian speakers; proficiency in Russian is required for this role.

Age:

Candidates aged 40 years old and below are preferred.

Industry Experience:

Must have in-depth experience in dealing with marine shipments of industrial commodities, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Availability:

Immediate joiners are highly prioritized.
