Position Overview:

Al Khaleej Steels is seeking experienced Logistics Coordinators/Officers to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics, with at least 2 years in the UAE. If you have a Bachelor's degree, preferably with specialization in Logistics & Supply Chain, and are passionate about logistics operations in the manufacturing industry, we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

Coordinate and monitor logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to arrange shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.

Inventory Control:

Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock movements.

Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.

Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance forms.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing transportation and trade.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer requirements.

Provide support and guidance to junior staff members as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Proven track record of managing logistics operations and optimizing supply chain processes.

Strong understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
