Job Description

Role Overview: As a Logistics Coordinator & Admin at S K I Global Shipping L.L.C, you will play a central role in ensuring that the company’s logistics operations run seamlessly and efficiently. You will be responsible for organizing and managing the flow of shipments from origin to destination, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness at every step. Coordination and Shipment Management: In this position, you will oversee all shipment activities—coordinating with clients, freight forwarders, and transport providers to ensure timely delivery. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, monitoring cargo movement, and updating records on shipment status. You will maintain close contact with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve any logistical challenges and ensure that all shipping processes adhere to company standards and international shipping regulations.

Administrative Excellence: Beyond logistics, you will handle administrative responsibilities that support the smooth running of daily operations. This includes managing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, scheduling meetings, and assisting with document verification and recordkeeping. Your administrative support will be key in ensuring that every project remains organized and that all departments have the documentation and information they need to perform effectively.

Client and Vendor Communication: A critical part of your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners. You’ll serve as the communication bridge between departments, ensuring all parties are updated on shipment statuses, delivery timelines, and potential delays. Your professionalism and clarity in communication will help reinforce S K I Global Shipping’s reputation for reliability and excellent customer service in the logistics industry.

Operational Tracking and Reporting: You will be responsible for tracking all incoming and outgoing shipments, updating records in real-time, and preparing detailed reports on cargo movements and delivery performance. By analyzing data and identifying trends, you will help optimize supply chain operations and improve the overall efficiency of logistics workflows. Accuracy and timely reporting will be vital in maintaining transparency and accountability within the organization.

Problem-Solving and Efficiency Improvement: The logistics industry demands proactive thinking, and in this role, you’ll be expected to anticipate challenges and develop creative solutions. Whether dealing with delays, customs issues, or miscommunication, your ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and diplomatically will ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
