Hiring: Logistics Coordinator at Seashell Shipping

Position Overview:

Seashell Shipping is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and shipping operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Logistics Operations:

Plan and oversee the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery.

Ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods to meet customer requirements.

Shipment Tracking:

Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Resolve any issues that arise during transportation to avoid delays.

Documentation and Customs Clearance:

Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

Handle customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Supplier and Client Liaison:

Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to arrange shipments and negotiate rates.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on shipment status and addressing any concerns.

Internal Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for shipment.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Cost Control:

Monitor and manage logistics costs to stay within budget.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of logistics processes, documentation, and customs regulations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
