Job Summary:

Connecting Minds is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Executive to join our client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sea and land freight operations and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of sea and land freight activities in Abu Dhabi.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of operations, including logistics, warehousing, and transportation.

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.

Inventory and Strategy:

Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize storage costs.

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance and Collaboration:

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards for sea and land freight operations.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and streamline processes.

Data Analysis and Improvement:

Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge:

Proven experience in sea and land freight operations, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management and reporting.

Familiarity with local and international regulations and standards for sea and land freight operations.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Salary:

AED 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
