Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the assigned portfolio within the Group within the applicable legislation, in line with the corporate strategy to optimally resolve legal issues, contain legal risks, and support the achievement of optimum legal protection.

Manage and guide the formulation of the Group's legal strategy, framework, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to Legal & Regulatory Affairs.

Provide subject matter expertise to the Board, CEO, and Senior Management on regulatory matters.

Provide counsel on legal implications of business decisions and practices, directing the effective identification and reporting of risk areas for mitigation, encompassing capacity procurement tenders, divestments, restructurings, financings, joint ventures, regulatory, and litigation matters.

Procure external legal support with the approval of the Chief Legal, Regulatory & Compliance and, where applicable to support seamless legal services to the Group.

Develop and direct the implementation of the divisional strategy ensuring alignment to functional strategy, Group’s vision, mission, and corporate objectives.

Champion training initiatives in legal matters, to enhance awareness of legal matters while ensuring continuous adherence to laws and regulations across the Group.

Candidate Profile:

Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

10 years in the securities and Capital market sector.
