Job Overview: The Legal Officer will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the company. The individual must possess excellent legal acumen and have a thorough understanding of UAE laws and regulations. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and will involve coordination with various departments to ensure legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities: The role includes preparing and reviewing contracts, managing legal disputes, liaising with external legal counsel, and offering proactive advice on legal issues. The Legal Officer will also be responsible for ensuring that all business operations are conducted within the scope of the law.

Contract & Document Review: The Legal Officer will draft and vet commercial agreements, employment contracts, and any legal documents as per UAE law. Ensuring proper legal structure and risk mitigation in all contracts is a major aspect of this role.

Legal Compliance: The candidate will ensure the company’s operations comply with local legal requirements, including labor laws, corporate governance standards, and regulatory policies. They will also maintain a record of legal obligations and deadlines.

Litigation Management: The Legal Officer may assist in managing and responding to disputes, claims, or legal notices. Working with external law firms, they will coordinate legal proceedings and maintain proper documentation for all cases.

Policy Development: This position involves assisting in the development of internal policies, procedures, and company bylaws. The Legal Officer must ensure these are updated regularly in accordance with new legislation and best practices.
