Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Crane Inspector to join our team for an international contractor working on a large-scale oil and gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in crane inspection and maintenance within the oil and gas industry. This role requires a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations, along with exceptional inspection and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive inspections of cranes (Mobile, Crawler, Tower) and other lifting equipment to assess their safety and compliance.

Develop and implement inspection plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure thorough evaluations.

Perform visual and functional inspections of crane components, including structural elements, hoisting mechanisms, and safety devices.

Review inspection findings, identify deficiencies, and prepare detailed reports with recommended corrective actions.

Collaborate with the project team to address inspection findings and ensure appropriate repairs or maintenance activities.

Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to crane inspection and maintenance.

Provide guidance and support to the inspection team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Maintain accurate records and inspection reports, documenting crane performance and maintenance history.

Salary:

QAR 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in crane inspection and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.

In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Good command of English (written, spoken, and reading).

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Crane Inspector (CCI) are preferred.
