L1 Service Desk Engineer

Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled L1 Service Desk Engineer with Arabic language proficiency to join our long-term IT support team in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity for IT support professionals to leverage their technical skills and Arabic language proficiency in a dynamic Dubai-based organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support to end-users

Manage and resolve IT service desk tickets

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and chat

Maintain accurate documentation of support interactions

Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams

Use ITSM tools to track and manage support requests

Ensure timely resolution of user support tickets

Maintain a high level of customer service

Technical Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Service Desk/Helpdesk Support experience

Proficiency in Arabic and English

Experience with recognized ITSM tools:

Remedy

ManageEngine

ServiceDesk

Ivanti

Basic understanding of:

Network infrastructure

MS Office Products

Microsoft Windows operating systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft)

Knowledge of remote support tools

Experience in multicultural work environments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
