Our client, a prominent UAE banking institution, seeks an experienced KYC Analyst with specialized MENA region expertise to strengthen their compliance team. This critical role involves conducting thorough customer due diligence while ensuring adherence to international banking regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

The KYC Analyst will perform comprehensive client profile reviews, verify source of funds/wealth documentation, and assess risk ratings for MENA-based clientele. Your technical expertise will be essential in identifying suspicious activity patterns and ensuring all customer files meet stringent regulatory standards.

Regulatory Compliance Focus:

This position requires in-depth application of FATCA/CRS regulations and local UAE Central Bank requirements. You will analyze complex corporate structures, screen against global sanctions lists, and maintain meticulous audit trails for all KYC decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree plus minimum 4 years of dedicated KYC experience within MENA banking institutions. Proven ability to interpret beneficial ownership structures and handle high-risk client categories is mandatory.

Technical Expertise:

The role demands advanced knowledge of transaction monitoring systems, KYC remediation processes, and regulatory reporting tools. Familiarity with Arabic business documentation and naming conventions will be considered a distinct advantage.
