Duties & Responsibilities:

Fanar Al Khaleej is looking for a Junior Executive - Purchase to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a background in food technology or a related science field and possess relevant experience in the purchase or procurement of food ingredients. This role involves managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality food ingredients to support our production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

Source and procure food ingredients required for production.

Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality ingredients.

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable deals.

Inventory Control:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.

Coordinate with the production team to forecast ingredient needs.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all purchased ingredients meet the company's quality standards.

Coordinate with the quality control team to address any quality issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

Prepare and present procurement reports to management.

Qualifications:

B.Tech in Food Technology or any science background.

2-3 years of work experience in purchase/procurement of food ingredients.

Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
