Job Description:

Al Shirawi Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Estimation Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs and assisting in cost estimation for various electrical services and projects. Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Take-Offs: Perform electrical quantity take-offs for a wide range of services, ensuring precision and accuracy.

Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates based on quantity take-offs and project specifications.

Electrical Drawings: Review, interpret, and analyze electrical drawings and specifications to ensure correct take-offs.

Software Proficiency: Utilize estimation tools like Planswift and AutoCAD for accurate take-offs and project documentation.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate estimations and smooth project execution.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on quantity take-offs and cost estimates to relevant stakeholders.

Project Involvement: Support the team in preparing tender documentation, bill of quantities (BOQ), and other essential project documents.

Key Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B-Tech) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical quantity take-offs for various services.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in take-off software such as Planswift, AutoCAD, and other estimation tools.

Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all estimations.
