Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Backend Developer to join our development team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will help build and maintain scalable server-side applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side applications using modern backend technologies

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to production deployment

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Implement security and data protection measures

Debug and resolve technical issues

Write and maintain technical documentation

Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

0-2 years of experience in backend development

Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js)

Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)

Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication skills in English

Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate

Preferred Skills

Experience with RESTful APIs

Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with containerization (Docker)

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of testing frameworks
