Role Overview – Azia Food International FZE is hiring a Junior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for entry-level accounting professionals with foundational accounting expertise, food and beverage industry knowledge, and the ability to support accounting operations effectively, assist with financial records, learn accounting procedures, support financial reporting, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic food trading and import/export organization.

Financial Transaction Recording – You will record financial transactions by entering data into accounting systems, classifying transactions properly, and maintaining transaction accuracy under supervision. You will ensure accurate transaction processing and comprehensive financial records. You should maintain transaction recording proficiency.

General Ledger Support – You will assist in managing the general ledger by recording transactions under guidance, ensuring account classification, supporting reconciliations, and verifying balances. You will review transaction postings, support investigations of discrepancies, and help ensure the general ledger accurately reflects company operations. You should develop general ledger management skills.

Accounts Receivable Assistance – You will assist with accounts receivable by processing invoices, recording payments, maintaining customer account records, and tracking collections. You will prepare supporting documentation, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain accurate AR records. You should learn AR operations effectively.

Food Sales and Revenue Recording – You will assist with recording food sales transactions by processing invoices, documenting revenue, maintaining records, and supporting tracking. You will help ensure accurate food sales documentation and support collection activities. You should develop food sales accounting skills.

Wholesale and Trading Revenue – You will assist with recording wholesale and trading revenue by processing transactions, documenting sales, maintaining records, and supporting tracking. You will help document food trading revenue accurately. You should develop wholesale accounting understanding.

Accounts Payable Assistance – You will assist with accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, coordinating payment support, maintaining vendor information, and supporting payment processing. You will help optimize payment timing, verify invoice documentation, and maintain accurate payable records. You should learn AP operations effectively.

Food Supplier Invoice Processing – You will assist with processing food supplier invoices by reviewing documentation, verifying details, supporting payment processing, and maintaining records. You will help track food supplier expenses. You should develop supplier invoice skills.
