Job Description
Role Overview The Junior Accountant will provide essential support to both finance and HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day processes. This dual-role requires a candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities across accounting and human resources functions.
Accounting Operations The candidate will assist with billing, invoicing, monitoring rental durations, tracking customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, handling petty cash, and supporting bank reconciliations. Effective record-keeping and attention to detail are essential for the accuracy of financial operations.
Payments & Receivables Responsibilities include managing post-dated cheques, coordinating supplier payments, and ensuring timely settlement of accounts. The candidate will support financial accountability and provide transparency in all monetary transactions.
HR Support The Junior Accountant will assist HR operations, including maintaining employee files, supporting onboarding, assisting with monthly payroll processing, tracking leave records, and responding to basic employee queries. This ensures compliance with company policies and smooth HR workflows.
Documentation & Reporting The role involves preparing reports, updating records, and ensuring all accounting and HR documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Strong organizational skills are required to maintain systematic records for easy retrieval and audits.
Coordination & Collaboration The candidate will work closely with finance and HR teams, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of tasks. Clear communication and proactive problem-solving are key to supporting team efficiency.
