Job Overview: Ansaf Building Contracting LLC is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant  to support our accounting operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have 2–3 years of UAE experience and a strong understanding of financial principles, especially in the construction industry. The role is best suited for a candidate eager to grow within a reputable contracting firm.

Daily Accounting Tasks: As a Junior Accountant, your responsibilities will include maintaining daily financial transactions such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger postings. You will ensure all records are up to date and accurately reflect the company's financial position.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: You will be responsible for preparing and processing vendor payments, managing petty cash, issuing invoices to clients, and following up on receivables. It is essential to maintain clear communication with suppliers and clients for seamless transactions and timely collections.

VAT Filing & Compliance: You will assist in preparing monthly and quarterly VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. Keeping accurate records and coordinating with auditors during financial reviews will also fall under your responsibilities.

Construction Industry Support: Preferably with a construction background, you’ll support project-based accounting, including recording project costs, preparing financial reports for site operations, and ensuring proper cost allocations. Experience in handling subcontractor accounts and progress payments is a plus.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or other construction-focused financial tools will be beneficial. MS Excel skills, including functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial modeling, are necessary for daily reporting tasks.
