Junior Accountant Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for the school, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and school policies.
Assist in the preparation of the school’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and improved financial performance.
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collection of fees, and management of student accounts.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and implement audit recommendations.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for school operations.
Process expense reports, purchase orders, and other financial transactions in accordance with school policies.
Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed, including special projects and process improvements.
Junior Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the education sector in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Academic Secretary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the academic staff, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records, including student files, attendance records, and grade reports.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of academic materials, such as syllabi, exams, and course schedules.
Coordinate and organize school events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and staff regarding academic inquiries and issues.
Manage the academic calendar, including scheduling classes, exams, and other important dates.
Assist in the enrollment and registration processes, ensuring all required documentation is collected and processed.
Support the implementation of academic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with school regulations.
Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Academic Secretary Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience in an academic setting, preferably within the UAE.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with academic management systems.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
