Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, updating statements, and supporting the accounting department's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update accurate accounting records

Track and monitor accounts regularly

Update financial statements as required

Process and record financial transactions

Assist in accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements

Help prepare monthly financial reports

Maintain organized digital and physical financial records

Support senior accounting staff with various accounting tasks

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Handle basic bookkeeping duties

Document financial procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce

1-2 years of accounting experience

Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software

Strong attention to detail

Good organizational skills

Computer literacy with MS Office (especially Excel)

Technical Skills

Knowledge of accounting software systems

Understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in spreadsheet applications

Data entry accuracy

Basic financial analysis capabilities
