Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to grow within a luxury real estate development environment while handling various accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

Process and maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank statements and handle bank-related queries

Process vendor invoices and expense claims

Assist in payroll processing and related documentation

Reporting & Analysis

Support in preparing financial reports and analysis

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

Help maintain fixed assets register

Participate in month-end closing procedures

Support in audit preparation and documentation

Administrative Duties

Maintain organized digital and physical financial records

Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures

Support senior team members with special projects

Handle routine correspondence with vendors and internal departments

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-2 years of accounting experience

Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

Proficiency in accounting software

Strong Excel and MS Office skills

Understanding of basic accounting principles

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in real estate or construction industry

Knowledge of UAE real estate accounting practices

Familiarity with ERP systems

Professional accounting qualification (in progress) such as ACCA, CMA, or CA

Arabic language skills (advantage)
