Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with Qatar experience to handle daily accounting operations and support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Process and maintain financial records, transactions, and documentation

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

Perform bank reconciliations

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements

Monitor and record daily cash transactions

Support in payroll processing

Assist in preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documentation

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

Support senior accountants in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Generate and analyze financial reports

Assist in audit preparation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience specifically in Qatar

Strong knowledge of Qatar accounting regulations and practices

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational skills

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with accounting software

Knowledge of financial reporting standards

Understanding of Qatar tax regulations

Data entry and database management skills
