About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Tally software and basic accounting principles to support our finance department in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Tally software

Process and record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports

Reconcile bank statements and handle petty cash management

Process invoice payments and follow up on collections

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents

Support senior accountants in month-end closing procedures

Help prepare VAT returns and other tax-related documentation

Assist in audit preparation and documentation

Generate various financial reports as required by management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field

Proven experience with Tally software

Stable work experience in accounting role

Strong understanding of accounting principles

Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Attention to detail and accuracy in number handling

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Desired Skills

Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

Experience with other accounting software packages

Understanding of local business practices

Basic knowledge of UAE labor law and regulations

Ability to work with multiple currencies

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in UAE

Must be available to start immediately

Should be able to handle work pressure and meet deadlines
