About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies
• Verify and validate all payment requests, expense reports, and purchase orders
• Maintain vendor files and records in both digital and physical formats
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
• Track pending payments and manage payment schedules
• Support month-end closing procedures
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
• Assist with audit preparations and documentation
• Generate regular accounts payable reports
• Support the implementation of accounting software improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with ERP systems
• Arabic language skills
• Previous experience in a similar industry
