Duties & Responsibilities:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within the organization. Key duties include managing hardware, software, and network issues, as well as supporting various IT infrastructure components.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS).

Network Infrastructure:

Manage network infrastructure, including installation and configuration.

Oversee firewall management and network security practices.

Server Administration:

Administer and support email servers (Lotus Domino, MS Exchange), Windows servers (DNS, AD, DHCP), and SQL servers.

Perform system maintenance, updates, and backups.

Cybersecurity:

Monitor and manage cybersecurity practices.

Implement and manage antivirus solutions (FSecure, Trend Micro).

Cloud Services:

Manage cloud services integration and oversee virtualization (Hyper-V).

Documentation:

Document IT procedures and support interactions.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for all IT processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Certifications:

CompTIA A+, MCSA, CCNA.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting and network administration.

Experience with firewall management (SonicWALL) and virtualization (Hyper-V).

Knowledge of backup solutions (Acronis) and email servers (Lotus Domino, MS Exchange).

Proficiency with Windows servers (DNS, AD, DHCP) and SQL administration.

Familiarity with SMTP services (Mailmarshal, Mimecast).
