Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain IT Operations: Manage essential IT operations, including providing technical support and maintaining applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware, and network infrastructure.

System Improvements: Handle business-critical IT tasks and improvements.

Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.

Expert Support: Serve as the subject-matter expert for Windows and widely used software applications like Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Workspace.

Staff Needs Analysis: Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and improve efficiency and accuracy.

Systems Design and Implementation: Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration to ensure all components work together seamlessly.

Application Management: Implement software upgrades and troubleshoot performance issues.

Training and Support: Train staff on using IT systems, software, and hardware; provide technical support as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to understand their IT needs and provide technical solutions.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential risks or vulnerabilities.

Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and service agreements.

Advancement Awareness: Stay updated on advancements in healthcare technology and IT best practices.

Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of company information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Experience with healthcare-specific IT systems, such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications like Microsoft+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus.
