Job Overview: Infravue Technologies is currently hiring a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our on-site team in Dubai, UAE. This full-time role is best suited for a candidate who enjoys solving technical challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values hands-on experience in supporting hardware, software, and networks. You will be the first point of contact for resolving system-related issues and ensuring smooth IT operations across our organization.
Technical Troubleshooting: The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to internal users. This includes diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. Your expertise in troubleshooting and quick response to issues will ensure minimal disruptions to daily operations.
System & Network Support: In this role, you will assist with the maintenance and monitoring of computer systems and networks. You will handle system configurations, backups, and implement timely security updates. An understanding of network protocols and firewalls is essential, as you’ll be involved in identifying and resolving connectivity issues.
End-User Assistance: A key aspect of the position is delivering excellent support to end-users across departments. You’ll ensure that users are able to work efficiently with minimal technical barriers. The role demands a calm, professional demeanor with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Vendor Coordination & Escalation: You will be required to coordinate with third-party vendors for equipment repair and service support. For issues that require deeper investigation or hardware replacement, your ability to escalate efficiently and provide follow-up will help maintain operational continuity.
Documentation & Tools Usage: Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools is expected. You will log all incidents, document resolutions, and contribute to the development of a centralized knowledge base. Consistency in updating system records is vital for analytics and future audits.
