Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment.

Network Administration:

Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement necessary solutions.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.

System Maintenance:

Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.

Ensure all IT systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates.

Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

User Training and Support:

Conduct training sessions for employees on the use of IT systems and applications.

Create and maintain user manuals and documentation for IT processes and procedures.

Provide guidance and support to users on best practices and efficient use of IT resources.

IT Projects:

Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and initiatives.

Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs.

Ensure all IT projects are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

Monitor for potential security breaches and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.

Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards.

Asset Management:

Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.

Manage the procurement and disposal of IT assets in accordance with company policies.

Track and report on IT asset usage and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

Requirements:

Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably within the UAE or in the candidate's home country.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills:

Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with network administration, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.

Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location:
