Technical Support and Maintenance: As an IT Support professional, you will be the first point of contact for internal teams requiring assistance with computers, software applications, and peripheral devices. A significant part of your daily responsibilities will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth functioning across all user workstations. In particular, you will troubleshoot common challenges with Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, maintaining productivity across departments.

System and Network Administration: You will oversee user account management within Microsoft 365, including setting up emails, assigning licenses, and modifying access permissions. Ensuring uninterrupted network connectivity is crucial; thus, your role includes monitoring network health, identifying bottlenecks, and resolving performance issues. You'll coordinate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure that all systems are seamlessly integrated and aligned with cloud-based services.

Cloud Services and Microsoft 365: A critical function of this role involves maintaining the organization’s Office 365 ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of cloud services, updating configurations, and supporting user engagement with tools like SharePoint and OneDrive. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin portals and service dashboards is essential to keep the system running efficiently.

Information Security: Your responsibility will extend to implementing and enforcing security policies to safeguard digital assets. This includes deploying Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across user accounts and ensuring compliance with best practices. Additionally, you'll regularly review Microsoft 365 Security Center logs, respond to suspicious activities, and mitigate potential threats in real-time.

DNS Management: In this role, you will handle all aspects of DNS configurations related to Office 365 services. This includes managing MX, CNAME, and TXT records to ensure proper email delivery and domain verification. You will also troubleshoot DNS-related issues that may impact service stability or email performance, thereby playing a key role in keeping our communication infrastructure stable.

Internal IT Support and Communication: You’ll serve as the go-to resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical queries from employees, either in person or through remote assistance tools. Prompt, clear, and helpful communication is essential. You'll maintain incident logs, escalate complex issues to higher-tier support, and ensure user satisfaction and minimal downtime across all departments.
