This position in Doha is ideal for a accomplished IT project leader with hands-on exposure to cybersecurity deployments who excels at steering concurrent technology initiatives through formal gated methodologies from inception to successful handoff.

The core responsibilities of this position involve managing multiple concurrent cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects throughout their complete lifecycle. Daily activities include defining project scope, developing comprehensive schedules using enterprise management tools, establishing baselines, and maintaining budget forecasting models. The IT Project Manager will oversee vendor selection, direct technical teams, establish risk registers, resolve project dependencies, and coordinate testing, training, and deployment phases. Additionally, the role requires enforcing PMBOK governance standards, leading steering committee meetings, and delivering weekly status reports to executive business stakeholders.

Candidates applying for this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, supported by at least seven years of post-degree experience in the IT industry. A minimum of five years of dedicated experience as an IT Project Manager within a similar enterprise organization is required, alongside a proven track record of successfully delivering at least two end-to-end IT projects valued at over USD 500,000 each. Proficiency in Project Management Institute (PMI) knowledge areas, gated methodologies, and enterprise tools such as MS Project or EPM is essential.
