Job Description

J10 Consulting is seeking experienced IT Infrastructure Draughtsmen to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves detailed design and drafting for infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities (stormwater, sewerage, potable water), and street lighting. The position is available for immediate joining and offers a direct hire, permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration: Work closely with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.

Calculation: Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and material requirements for project specifications.

Production Methods: Describe production methods, detailing equipment and software to be used.

Design Creation: Create detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow.

Sketch Review: Prepare and review rough sketches, collaborating with the engineering team for accuracy.

NOC Preparation & Drawing: Prepare NOC (No Objection Certificates) and drawings for project approval. Create shop drawings and design proposals to meet project requirements.

As-Built Drawings: Develop as-built drawings to document the final design and construction details.

Operational Issues Identification: Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to enhance functionality.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all final designs comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Document Control: Archive and manage revisions of design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documents.

Requirements

Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities (stormwater, sewerage, potable water), and streetlights.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is required. Experience with MicroStation is an advantage.

Salary

AED 7,000 to 10,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
