Role Overview

DRL Management is hiring IT Help Desk Support in Dubai, UAE. This role is ideal for tech-savvy professionals with proven helpdesk experience, strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to resolve technical issues, support users, and maintain IT systems efficiently.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

Provide technical support by responding to helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving IT problems, assisting users with technical difficulties, and ensuring prompt issue resolution.

User Account Management

Manage user accounts by creating and deactivating accounts, resetting passwords, configuring permissions, managing access rights, and maintaining user profiles in Active Directory and other systems.

Hardware and Software Support

Support hardware and software by installing applications, configuring devices, troubleshooting computers and printers, managing peripherals, and ensuring proper equipment functionality.

Ticket Management

Manage support tickets by logging issues, prioritizing requests, tracking resolution progress, updating ticket status, communicating with users, and maintaining accurate support documentation.

System Monitoring

Monitor IT systems by checking system alerts, identifying issues proactively, performing routine maintenance, ensuring system availability, and escalating critical problems when needed.

Network Support

Provide network support by troubleshooting connectivity issues, configuring network settings, assisting with Wi-Fi problems, and coordinating with network teams on complex issues.

Documentation and Training

Create documentation by writing user guides, documenting procedures, maintaining knowledge base articles, and providing basic training to help users resolve common issues independently.

Escalation Management

Manage escalations by identifying complex issues requiring advanced support, coordinating with senior IT staff, following up on escalated tickets, and ensuring timely resolution.


What We're Looking For

IT Support Experience

Proven experience in IT helpdesk, technical support, or similar role with demonstrated success resolving technical issues and supporting users effectively.

Technical Knowledge

Strong technical knowledge including Windows/Mac OS, MS Office, Active Directory, email systems, basic networking, and common business applications.

Troubleshooting Skills

Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose problems, identify solutions, resolve issues efficiently, and provide effective technical support under pressure.

Customer Service Excellence

Strong customer service skills with patience, clear communication, professional demeanor, and commitment to user satisfaction.

Communication Skills

Good communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly, documenting issues, coordinating with teams, and maintaining professional user interactions.

Time Management

Effective time management to handle multiple tickets simultaneously, prioritize urgent issues, meet SLAs, and maintain efficient support operations.

Problem-Solving Abilities

Problem-solving abilities to address diverse technical challenges, think critically, find creative solutions, and resolve issues independently when possible.

Team Player Attitude

Team player attitude with willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to positive IT support environment.
