Job Summary

As an IT Application Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing technical solutions, and ensuring that IT projects align with business goals to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.

Solution Design and Documentation:

Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and workflow diagrams.

Translate business requirements into technical requirements for IT development teams.

Project Management Support:

Assist in project planning, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through technology.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).

Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze data to support business decisions and identify trends.

Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.

Technical Skills and Competencies

Management Tools: Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar for managing and documenting requirements.

Modelling and Design Tools: Experience with modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for creating process diagrams and workflows.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Testing Tools: Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, TestRail, or similar.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
