Role Overview: GEMS International High School Dubai is currently hiring a qualified and experienced IT Admin to support our educational environment with robust technology systems and responsive IT services. This is a key technical role within the school, ideal for professionals who are passionate about education, technology, and user support.

IT Infrastructure Management: The IT Admin will be responsible for maintaining the school's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems. You’ll ensure that all equipment and platforms are functioning smoothly to support the academic and administrative operations.

System Troubleshooting: A major part of your role will include identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues promptly. You will also provide technical support to staff and faculty, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily workflow.

School System Support: Familiarity with school management systems is a significant asset, as you’ll be expected to support user access, updates, reporting, and overall performance of these platforms. You will coordinate with school leadership to enhance digital learning and administrative systems.

User Training & Support: You will assist non-technical staff by providing guidance and basic training on system usage, troubleshooting steps, and best practices. Patience, clear communication, and a solution-oriented mindset are essential in this part of the role.

Security & Backups: The IT Admin will monitor system security, manage backups, and ensure that the school's data is protected and recoverable in case of failure. Knowledge of firewall management and antivirus protection is expected.

Upgrades & Asset Management: You’ll maintain an inventory of all tech assets and recommend upgrades where necessary. This includes planning and assisting in the implementation of new technology or system enhancements to support evolving academic needs.
