Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Foreman to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing irrigation systems across our prestigious properties and developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise irrigation installation and maintenance teams

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for irrigation systems

Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems

Conduct regular inspections of irrigation networks and equipment

Manage water conservation initiatives and optimize irrigation efficiency

Coordinate with landscaping teams to ensure proper plant care

Prepare daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and system modifications

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Monitor and control irrigation supplies inventory

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as an Irrigation Foreman in luxury properties or large-scale developments

Strong technical knowledge of modern irrigation systems and controllers

Experience in supervising and training maintenance teams

Proficiency in reading and interpreting irrigation plans and technical drawings

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Strong communication skills in English

Knowledge of local water conservation practices

Computer literacy for reporting and documentation

Technical Competencies

Expert knowledge of irrigation system components and operations

Understanding of water pressure, flow rates, and hydraulics

Proficiency in automated irrigation control systems

Experience with smart irrigation technologies

Ability to perform system troubleshooting and repairs

Working Conditions

Work is primarily conducted outdoors

Available to work flexible hours when required

Physical ability to perform field inspections and occasional manual work

Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions
