Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Internal Medicine Specialist to join our medical facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, managing both common and complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases and medical conditions, including:

Chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases)

Acute illnesses (infections, respiratory problems)

Complex medical cases requiring specialized care

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor patient response to treatment

Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures and tests

Review and analyze laboratory results, X-rays, and other diagnostic imaging

Maintain detailed patient records and documentation

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care

Provide patient education regarding preventive care and disease management

Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution

Board certification in Internal Medicine

Valid DOH (Department of Health) license for Abu Dhabi

Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience

Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Experience with electronic medical records systems

Preferred Qualifications

Additional subspecialty certification

Arabic language proficiency

Previous experience in UAE healthcare system

Research publications in relevant medical fields
