Position Overview

PureHealth is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the adequacy of internal controls, assessing risk management systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities

As an Internal Audit professional at PureHealth, you will be entrusted with planning and conducting internal audits across various departments. You will assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls, identify areas of improvement, and propose corrective actions. Responsibilities will also include preparing detailed audit reports, presenting findings to senior management, and tracking the implementation of audit recommendations.

Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation

You will be expected to identify and evaluate organizational risks, both financial and operational, and assess how well those risks are being mitigated through internal controls. Your role will require you to work cross-functionally to understand business processes and identify potential vulnerabilities that could impact efficiency, compliance, or accuracy in operations.

Compliance Monitoring and Reporting

Ensuring that departments comply with internal policies, regulations, and external laws will be a key aspect of your role. The Internal Audit professional will develop tools and processes to monitor compliance and generate comprehensive audit documentation and risk-based reports that support senior leadership in making informed decisions.

Collaborative Engagement

While internal auditing is independent by nature, you will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to promote awareness of risk management and control practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with department heads and provide guidance on compliance requirements, audit outcomes, and necessary improvements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, accounting, or finance, supported by relevant certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA (preferred but not mandatory). You must demonstrate high levels of integrity, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
