Employment: Full Time

As an Interior Design Draftsman at Future Tense, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and execution of detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for interior design projects. You will work closely with the design team to ensure that all visual representations accurately reflect the project requirements and comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for various interior design projects.

Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visual representations.

Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure that all drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with industry standards and regulations.

Site Visits and Measurements: Conduct site visits and measurements to gather necessary data for drafting purposes.

Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to incorporate technical and structural elements into designs.

Review and Revision: Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to contribute innovative ideas to the design process.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Interior Design Draftsman or similar role within the fitout/interior design industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.

Solid understanding of construction and interior design principles.

Ability to interpret and visualize design concepts effectively.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE is an advantage.

A portfolio showcasing previous drafting work and design projects is preferred.

Salary:

AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
