Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator with proven UAE healthcare experience to join our team at Life Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of medical insurance coordination while ensuring smooth operations between patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to medical services

Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently

Coordinate with insurance companies for pre-approvals and authorizations

Follow up on pending and rejected claims

Manage insurance-related documentation and maintain accurate records

Resolve billing discrepancies and handle insurance queries

Assist patients with insurance-related questions and concerns

Ensure compliance with insurance companies' policies and procedures

Monitor claim status and manage the appeal process when necessary

Generate and analyze insurance-related reports

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure proper documentation for claims

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in UAE healthcare insurance coordination

Strong knowledge of UAE health insurance systems and procedures

Familiarity with major UAE insurance companies and their protocols

Experience with medical billing and coding

Proficiency in medical insurance software systems

Strong understanding of medical terminology

Essential Skills

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Outstanding organizational and time management abilities

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Customer service orientation

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Technical Knowledge

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Knowledge of ICD-10 coding

Familiarity with insurance claims processing software

Understanding of UAE healthcare regulations

Experience with insurance verification systems
