Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our healthcare facility in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring smooth billing processes while providing excellent service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Process and submit insurance claims accurately and timely
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
Obtain pre-authorizations for medical procedures and medications
Follow up on pending claims and resolve insurance-related issues
Coordinate between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
Maintain accurate patient records and insurance documentation
Handle insurance denials and appeals process
Explain insurance benefits and coverage to patients
Monitor and track claim status
Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and policies
Reconcile insurance payments and handle discrepancies
Generate and analyze insurance-related reports
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience as an Insurance Coordinator
Experience in clinic or pharmacy setting (preferred)
Knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance claims processes
Familiarity with UAE healthcare insurance systems
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Proficiency in relevant software and systems

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
