Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented Inspector - Civil / Structural to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is responsible for conducting site inspections in accordance with Infrastructure-related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).
Key Responsibilities
Attend to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
Report any works carried out by the contractor that do not comply with approved drawings and specifications, and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
Maintain records of daily activities on-site, including progress photos, and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies in work found on-site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required due to the development of events.
Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
Provide technical input and experience to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise.
Qualifications
A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
A minimum of 9 years of work experience, particularly on major villas projects.
Strong foundation in integrity, results, innovation, safety, and diversity, with a commitment to contributing to client success.
