Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Income Auditor to join our dynamic finance team at Nehal Hotel. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling daily revenue, and ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily income auditing for all hotel revenue streams, including room revenues, food and beverage sales, and additional services
Reconcile daily financial transactions across multiple point-of-sale (POS) systems
Prepare and review daily revenue reports with precision and accuracy
Validate and process financial data from various hotel departments
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards
Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes
Identify and investigate any discrepancies in financial records
Collaborate with front office, food and beverage, and accounting departments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in income auditing, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hotel management systems (Opera, Micros)
Certification in accounting or financial auditing
Previous experience in UAE hospitality sector
