Job Overview: The HVAC Technician at Facilitx Facility Management & Maintenance will play a critical role in ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently across various facilities. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of diagnosing issues, implementing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal environmental comfort for clients.

Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including ductwork, chillers, VRF units, and split systems. This role demands precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to follow engineering diagrams and technical manuals for effective system operation.

Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, airflow measurement, and temperature control systems is required. You will handle tools, gauges, and diagnostic devices to identify faults and carry out necessary adjustments. Familiarity with both commercial and residential HVAC systems is highly desirable.

Work Environment: The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, often in high-temperature environments. You must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and under time-sensitive schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Safety and Compliance: Compliance with Qatari health, safety, and environmental regulations is mandatory. You must strictly adhere to PPE usage, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and safe handling of refrigerants, ensuring all work meets local and international safety codes.

Client Interaction: The position requires direct communication with clients to explain issues, provide solutions, and recommend system upgrades or efficiency improvements. Excellent customer service skills will be crucial in maintaining long-term business relationships.
