Role Overview – City University Ajman is hiring a Human Resources Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced human resources professionals with strong HR expertise, higher education and academic institution knowledge, and the ability to manage comprehensive HR operations effectively, lead recruitment initiatives, develop talent strategies, ensure compliance, support organizational culture, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic higher education institution.
HR Strategy Development and Implementation – You will develop comprehensive HR strategies by analyzing organizational needs, setting HR objectives, creating action plans, and driving implementation. You will align HR with university strategic objectives, establish HR direction supporting academic excellence, and support institutional growth. You will contribute strategic thinking to organizational development and talent management.
Faculty Recruitment and Selection – You will lead faculty recruitment by developing recruitment strategies, sourcing academic talent, managing hiring processes, and building faculty pipelines. You will coordinate with academic departments, assess faculty qualifications, and ensure quality academic hiring. You should manage academic recruitment effectively supporting institutional excellence.
Academic Staff Management and Development – You will manage academic staff by supporting professional development, coordinating faculty advancement, managing tenure processes, and supporting scholarly activities. You will facilitate academic career development and faculty satisfaction. You should understand academic career structures and advancement.
Administrative and Support Staff Recruitment – You will manage recruitment for administrative and support positions by sourcing candidates, managing hiring processes, and ensuring quality hiring. You will fill positions supporting university operations and student services. You should manage diverse staff recruitment.
