Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled HR Systems and Payroll Executive to join our client in the Oil & Gas sector, based in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential for ensuring accurate payroll processing, HRMS management, and strict compliance with UAE labor regulations. Candidates must already be based in the UAE and available for in-person interviews in Abu Dhabi.
Payroll Management: The successful candidate will take ownership of the complete payroll cycle for all employees. Responsibilities include processing monthly payroll, verifying employee timesheets, disbursing pay slips, and ensuring inactive employees are properly closed in the system. Accuracy and timeliness are critical to maintaining trust and compliance within the organization.
HRMS Administration: The role requires advanced skills in HRMS management, including maintaining and updating employee records, handling salary adjustments, benefits, grade changes, and designations. The candidate will also liaise with the HRMS provider to ensure the system is always updated with the latest software, while safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.
Employee Records & Entitlements: The candidate will oversee employee entitlements including leave balances, ticket allowances, and encashments. Ensuring accurate documentation of employee records and processing changes promptly are key deliverables. This includes preparing and issuing final settlements while ensuring timely completion of release and discharge formalities.
Compliance & Auditing: Regular audits will form part of the job to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations. The candidate must maintain absolute confidentiality of payroll data, monitor discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying gaps and streamlining payroll processes.
Stakeholder Coordination: The HR Systems and Payroll Executive will closely collaborate with Finance to ensure seamless salary disbursements and other payroll-related payments. Additionally, the role involves direct interaction with employees to resolve queries related to salaries, timesheets, or HRMS entries. Strong communication skills are essential to building confidence among staff.
