About The Role:

The HR Specialist will provide operational support tailored for the Kuwait market, ensuring HR meets business unit needs and objectives effectively and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

Act as a representative of the HRBP function, offering day-to-day HR support to employees and management in the Kuwait market.

Facilitate routine employee surveys and feedback sessions, maintaining a consistent presence in stores to foster frontline relations.

Support the Senior HRBP in the budgeting process, ensuring accurate data is updated on Hyperion for the respective financial year.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist in the selection process.

Implement employee induction and orientation plans in collaboration with the Employee Services team, and monitor new recruits through induction and probation, identifying training needs.

Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations matters, ensuring issues are resolved in line with HR policies and procedures to aid retention.

Facilitate the performance management process, driving the appraisal process and reporting outcomes to Senior HRBPs for further analysis and decisions in training, reward, and performance management.

Provide advice to employees in line with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with the Senior HRBP and Talent team on talent management and succession planning initiatives.

Identify and develop high-potential employees in collaboration with managers.

Contribute to organizational development projects and change management initiatives.

Assess organizational needs for skill development and training.

Oversee entry and maintenance of employee data on HR systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate employee exit processes, including exit interviews, settlement dues, and visa cancellations within the appropriate timeframe.

Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, overtime compensation, annual incentives, and uniform allowances.

Prepare official letters as required for approved employee requests promptly.

Ensure timely system updates, report generation, and record-keeping accuracy.

Plan and execute HR engagement activities, including team-building events, wellness programs, and recognition schemes to enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.

Requirements:

About You:

Education/Certification and Continued Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or specialist capacity.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proven experience in independently managing HR functions, focusing on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to HR software solutions is advantageous.

Excellent command of English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.

Strong understanding of Kuwait labor laws and best practices in HR management.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
