Employee Relations: As an HR Officer at Emirates Sands, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day employee relations, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will act as a first point of contact for staff queries, concerns, and grievances while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. By fostering open communication, you will help build strong employee engagement and support the company’s commitment to fairness and respect in the workplace.
Recruitment & Selection: The HR Officer will play a key role in the recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and posting vacancies to shortlisting candidates and conducting interviews. You will collaborate closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the company attracts top talent. Your focus will be on hiring individuals who align with Emirates Sands’ values and vision, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Performance Management: You will assist in implementing performance management systems to evaluate employee contributions effectively. This includes helping managers set performance goals, conducting periodic reviews, and supporting professional growth through constructive feedback. Your role will be vital in identifying training needs and recommending development programs to enhance workforce productivity and career progression.
Compliance & Policies: Ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies will be an integral part of your responsibilities. You will update HR manuals, create clear communication around workplace regulations, and monitor adherence to established standards. This role requires attention to detail, as you will handle documentation for employee contracts, benefits, and legal requirements, safeguarding the company from potential risks.
Training & Development: The HR Officer will support continuous learning and professional development initiatives across the organization. You will coordinate training sessions, workshops, and orientation programs designed to build employee skills and promote long-term retention. By aligning training strategies with company goals, you will help Emirates Sands maintain a competitive edge in the market through a skilled and motivated workforce.
Compensation & Benefits: In this role, you will assist in maintaining accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and payroll data. You will work closely with finance and administration teams to ensure timely processing of salaries and benefits packages. Your role will involve evaluating employee benefits programs and recommending adjustments to keep offerings competitive while ensuring employee satisfaction.
