Job Description
Job Overview: The HR Officer – DMCC & Payroll will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions with a focus on payroll processing, compliance with DMCC regulations, and employee support. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, experienced in handling HR documentation, and skilled in managing payroll cycles with accuracy.
Core Responsibilities: You will oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain HR records, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws. The position also involves preparing payroll reports, calculating allowances and deductions, and ensuring timely salary disbursements. Coordination with finance for payroll reconciliation will also form part of your duties.
Employee Relations: In this role, you will serve as a bridge between employees and management by handling queries, addressing concerns, and ensuring HR policies are communicated effectively. You will contribute to maintaining a positive work culture by supporting grievance redressal and assisting in employee engagement initiatives.
DMCC Compliance: A key requirement is to ensure that all HR activities comply with DMCC Free Zone regulations. This includes handling visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and liaising with DMCC authorities for approvals. You will also maintain employee files in line with free zone requirements.
Payroll Management: Accuracy in payroll processing is critical. You will be tasked with managing monthly payroll cycles, ensuring calculations are error-free, monitoring overtime records, and processing end-of-service benefits. Confidentiality and attention to detail are essential to avoid discrepancies and maintain trust.
