Position Overview

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to join our growing team in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for HR professionals who have a solid background in the Construction, Power, Oil & Gas, or EPC industries. The ideal candidate must be based in the UAE and bring a strong understanding of human resources operations and recruitment processes in accordance with UAE labor laws.

Role Objective

As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of HR functions, including end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, policy implementation, and compliance. This role requires someone who can operate independently while ensuring that the organization's human resources strategies align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

One of the core responsibilities of the HR Officer will be to manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs and posting job advertisements to screening candidates and coordinating interviews. You will also assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition into the organization. Experience in sourcing talent for technical and field roles within the construction and engineering sectors is highly preferred.

HR Operations & Employee Relations

This role involves day-to-day HR administrative functions, such as maintaining employee records, processing documentation, handling payroll coordination, and addressing employee inquiries. A strong understanding of employee relations, grievance handling, and performance support is essential to maintain a healthy workplace culture.

Compliance and UAE Labor Law Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa processes, and regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance in all HR practices, supporting audits, and advising management on labor-related policies and updates. Your ability to ensure legal and policy adherence will be critical to risk mitigation and operational efficiency.

HR Best Practices & Strategy Implementation

You will support the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall direction. This includes contributing to HR policy formulation, driving employee engagement, and assisting in training and development initiatives. Your input will play a key role in enhancing workforce productivity and morale.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must have 4–7 years of HR experience within the UAE, preferably within technical or project-based industries. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
