Overview of Role: The HR Generalist in Abu Dhabi will manage a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role requires a proactive professional capable of handling day-to-day HR tasks, supporting management, and maintaining a positive work environment for employees across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities: The HR Generalist will oversee recruitment processes, coordinate onboarding for new hires, maintain employee records, and assist in developing HR policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves handling employee queries, supporting performance appraisals, and ensuring HR practices align with local labor laws and company standards.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: This role includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, shortlisting applicants, and coordinating with department heads for hiring decisions. The HR Generalist will also support employer branding initiatives, attend job fairs, and ensure timely onboarding of selected candidates while maintaining a professional and welcoming experience.
Employee Relations and Engagement: The HR Generalist will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture, addressing employee concerns, and supporting engagement initiatives. The role emphasizes resolving workplace conflicts, conducting exit interviews, organizing team-building activities, and promoting open communication to maintain high morale and productivity.
HR Compliance and Policies: Ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, visa regulations, and company policies is a critical part of this role. The HR Generalist will maintain accurate HR documentation, support audits, and keep management informed of any legal or regulatory changes affecting HR operations.
Performance Management Support: The HR Generalist will assist in implementing performance management systems, tracking employee KPIs, and providing guidance to managers on appraisals, promotions, and recognition programs. The role supports continuous improvement by identifying training needs and facilitating learning initiatives.
HR Reporting and Administration: The HR Generalist will prepare HR reports, track employee data, maintain HRIS systems, and generate analytics to support decision-making. Administrative duties include leave management, payroll coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of HR operations on a daily basis.
