Job Description

Role Overview – Afro Group is hiring an HR Executive Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, Egypt. This position is ideal for experienced HR professionals with strong operational and strategic HR capabilities, Egyptian labor law knowledge, and the ability to manage HR functions, coordinate recruitment, drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and support organizational development within a business group environment.

HR Strategy and Operational Leadership – You will lead HR strategy and operations by developing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, implementing HR initiatives and programs, managing comprehensive HR functions, advising management on people matters, driving HR excellence, positioning HR as strategic partner, and supporting Afro Group's business goals and organizational development.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition – You will manage recruitment and talent acquisition by developing recruitment strategies for various roles and departments, posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening CVs and conducting interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, managing recruitment pipelines, coordinating with recruitment agencies, and ensuring timely hiring of quality talent.

Employee Onboarding and Integration – You will manage employee onboarding by preparing employment contracts and documentation, coordinating orientation programs, collecting required documentation, processing new hire paperwork, conducting comprehensive induction, facilitating employee integration, and ensuring smooth, positive onboarding experiences.

Employee Offboarding and Exit Management – You will manage employee offboarding by processing resignations and terminations according to Egyptian labor law, conducting exit interviews, calculating end-of-service benefits and severance, coordinating final settlements, collecting company property, updating records, and ensuring professional, compliant offboarding procedures.

HR Policies and Compliance Management – You will manage HR policies and compliance by developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor law and social insurance regulations, maintaining employee handbooks, coordinating with legal advisors, managing labor office coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding HR best practices.

Performance Management and Development – You will lead performance management by implementing performance appraisal systems, coordinating evaluation cycles, setting performance standards and KPIs, providing coaching guidance to managers, managing performance improvement plans, facilitating feedback processes, and fostering performance-driven culture.

Compensation and Benefits Administration – You will manage compensation and benefits by developing compensation structures, conducting salary benchmarking, managing benefits programs (social insurance, medical insurance, allowances), coordinating salary reviews, ensuring competitive compensation, managing payroll coordination, and administering comprehensive total rewards programs.
